Outdoor Adventure Kamp (O.A.K.), our super popular riverside kamp, is for 9-12 year olds with a focus on upping the ante on challenges, education, and river play. The classic experience still includes all of the high and low rope activities that hundreds of children enjoy each year plus some new games, high ropes elements, and workshops. These activities can be relatively strenuous and require a moderate level of physical fitness. Participants will have the opportunity to climb right beside the river to get an eagle’s eye view of the water and the award winning James River Park System. Due to the strong feedback surrounding Captain Mike Ostrander’s fishing program, we are excited to bring it back for the 2012 season. You can expect the always intense Mission Impossible Drop, Zip Line, Limb Walk, Vertical Climb, Cargo Net, re-designed Canopy Course, nature based activities, light current swimming, hiking … the list goes on. O.A.K. will be held in the James River Park System from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Cost: $375/wk
